Danish envoy to Tehran reaffirms EU’s support for N-deal

TEHRAN, Oct. 15 (MNA) – The ambassador of Denmark to Tehran said that Europeans were taken aback by Trump’s decertification of Iran’s compliance with the JCPOA, while it had already been attested eight times by the IAEA.

“Trump’s words that he would not support the JCPOA surprised us,” said Danny Annan, the Ambassador of Denmark to Tehran on Sunday. He made the remarks while meeting with the Governor General of Hormozgan Province of Iran in Bandar Abbas.

“Denmark and other state members of the European Union perfectly know that the IAEA (the International Atomic Energy Agency, the atomic watchdog of the United Nations) has certified Iran’s full compliance with the agreement for eight times,” asserted the foreign envoy.

“We promise to stay fully committed toward Iran and we will also continue our support for the JCPOA which is of great benefits,” reassured the Danish diplomat.

“As a state member of the European Union, we will remind the Americans of the benefits of the agreement and of their mistakes about it,” articulated the Danish envoy to Iran.
